Chiropractic Care for Animals

Just as our human patients heal better, recover, and thrive with chiropractic care, so do their pets.

The doctors at Hardwick Chiropractic have post-doctoral training and many years of experience in animal chiropractic. With a referral from your veterinarian* [see below], we are able to offer gentle, neurologically-based chiropractic care to your dogs, cats, and other small animals. While we have worked extensively with horses, llamas, and the occasional dairy cow, we are unable to offer barn calls at this time.

Trauma and Chronic Conditions

Recent injuries, performance strain as well as chronic and age-related issues respond well to chiropractic care. Indications that a chiropractic assessment and adjustment may be helpful for your pet include:

  • lameness, pain
  • mobility issues
  • anxiety
  • neuropathy
  • arthritis
  • behavior change
  • organ problems, including bladder and bowel dysfunction

Wellness Care

Just as with people, healthy and athletic animals also benefit from optimal alignment and ease within their musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractic care on a wellness basis fosters increased flexibility, tissue health, endurance and immune function.

Fees

Initial exam or re-examination and adjustment: $45
Adjustment for an existing patient: $20

Two legs or four, we all deserve an optimally functioning nervous system!
